Is it a bad idea to mix the salt by circulation in a brand new setup?

I am moving an established cube to a new RSR250. Does it make sense to fill the new tank with fresh RODI, check for leaks, then dump the salt directly in to mix for a few days before stabilizing and adding sand, then my existing LR?

I've seen many people post that they started their tanks in this manner without issues. The only thing I'd be careful of is making sure you mix accurate it would be a pain to have too much salt added and need to drain and add more water etc. I personally didn't start this way but don't see issues.

Thats somewhat how I did it on my 40b setup.

I did water test the tank with regular water in my garage, empty, then move it to where I want it. Set up the rocks and sands. Then add rodi water.
After its full, add powerheads and add the salt.

My tank is still cycling though. So I cant say if there is any side effects for it

That's how I just did a 60g cube recently. I did add way to much salt, but it was easy to correct. Now I have some saltwater made up for its first water change when the time comes
