mixing saltwater

I am filling my 125 gallon today, i plan on mixing the salt in the tank. should i wait to add the sand or can i fill it and mix with the sand in the bottom?

If you've already leak tested the system, I would start by adding the rock first, making sure its stable, then the sand. I would mix the salt in a separate container and add it after it has thoroughly mixed.

Correct^^^^^^ I wouldn't mix it in the tank.
Do you have already all that RODI water ready to mix?
Secure rock without the sand and fill sand around the rocks and add the saltwater.

Never mix in your tank. If you have live rock or live sand in your tank, the ro/di water will nuke them both rendering them no longer "live". I agree with the above. Mix in a separate container like a brute garbage can. I would suggest putting a small pump in the can to recirculate the water and dissolve the salts and then use that pump to pump the water mixture into your tank.
