I’m in the process of building my mixing station. After reading and watching all the builds. How does one go about sizing up the storage containers for the build. My set up is about 60 gal in total. I’m looking to do a continuous change daily. I could not find anything pertaining this. thanks in advance.

I think it just comes down to how often do you want to make water. Also factor how much room you have. I am using (2) 105 gallon water tanks for my 180 gallon system. One for rodi and one for saltwater.

I used 55g containers because they were as big as practical for my workspace (plumbed to a 150g total volume system).

I stated I want to do daily water changes. Room is a problem. My concern is after reading reviews on the water loosing alk and calc levels over a long time in storage. I purchased 65 gal norwesco containers because I know I will upgrade to a bigger tank.

The change in parameters isnt nearly as bad as people make it seem (very little and with AWC, not even a factor).

if I did a 1 gal a day change for my system size and my container size being 65 gal. Can the salt last 2 months without going foul.
