Mixing Stations

Interested in seeing some medinc stations and a little explanation on how they work. From what I’ve seen, an external pump moves RODI water to the next container where you then add salt, close valve and use same pump to mix? Do you have to keep this mixing all the time? Have to use a heater?

Here is a good thread with several different mixing stations.

I use the salt water reservoir for automatic water exchange and don't heat the water. I also don't keep it circulating after the salt is mixed. Here's my setup.

Great setup!!! This came up when I was on here searching if I need to keep circulating my saltwater reservoir. I was thinking about running a pump for 30 min a day on a timer to keep it mixed and oxygenated. Is this not needed or desired? I use tropic marin pro salt

Thanks,
Louis

I've never used routine circulation. I don't think it's a bad thing, but haven't found it necessary in my case. I've been using TM Pro salt for several years.
