I have upgraded my 120 gallon tank to a 220 gallon tank. My current livestock is two Yellow tangs that have been together for about six years and a Coral Beauty angelsfish. The other fish in the tank are a foxface rabbitfish, blennies, gobies and clownfish.
I like the mimic tangs and was thinking of adding a Lemon Peel tang, Half Black tang and or Eibli tang. My question is good idea or bad idea? Will this cause my angelfish to lose its mind or will he see tangs? Do tangs and angels react to shape or colour or both? Can I add other angels to the tank? How would be the best way or what tangs should I add, with the two yellows being the only tangs together for such a long time?
Thank you, for any advice or suggestions that you may have. Cheers.

I have 3 angels and 5 tangs together in a 240. The tangs tail flip the new tangs and the angels attack the new angels. Mine do not pay any attention to the other kind. The koran angel is largest was very viscous to the emperor when I added him. Then one day they all start getting along.
bicolor, koran and emperor angels
clown, sailfin, kole, tomini and yellow tangs.

Should be ok. The best way imo, as far as aggression, is add them all at same time. The yellow tangs might flip out for a day or three but should be ok after.
Have 4 angels and 4 tangs in my 220 with relatively no stress
