My six line has been a model citizen, and I believe she is this way, because she hasn't turned yet, so what ya'lls thoughts on adding either a melanarus or red-line wrasse before the six line does change?

I have a Melanarus. the first week was pretty rough with my 6 line chasing it alot. an acclimation box will help alot here. remember though, that Melanarus sleeps in the sand. once established, they are great wrasses IMO and are healthy eaters.

which fish goes into the acclimation box?

How big is your six line and how big is the Melanarus you are planning on getting? I know everybody has different experiences, but six lines have been a pain for me with anything close to their size. I have had better luck with fish that are larger them then though, but that's still not a given.

Mine 6 line was and is super fat. The melanarus was slightly smaller. If u can get your 6 line in a box do it. If not a day or so for the melanarus will go a long way. Be prepared for it to hit the sand and hide completely for a few days
