I picked up a Miyagi Tort from a fellow reefer and as you can see it had a lot of green when I first got it. 5 months later and there is no green at all. It is mounted high in my tank and is getting around 500 par. I like the color it has just curious if this has happened with anyone else's Miyagi Tort?

This happened to me as well, not sure why I assume either lack of nutrients or trace elements, but I haven’t had time to address it as I’m moving the whole system

Mine lost its green once it got to be a certain size. The frags I cut off get brilliant green, but the colony remains dull. Maybe we can figure out how to get the green back.

Looks like it started growing new growth all over which is purple so it turned mostly that color. Once branches come off the new growth spots the green should come back into the base areas that aren’t growing new branches. Probably happened because you gave it some good light and it took off.

Might be too high of par. I have a Miyagi and RR Aussie gold that only displayed more colors with less par.

I have a Miyagi Tort and its keep its green body with purple tips, but my growth patter is different than yours. Mine is chunky gaining mass and not height. Getting around g 350-400 par.

Yes, as others stated many sps get green in lower light and pick up more red tones in higher levels. There's nothing "wrong" but if you want the green back move it to a lower par area.
Or you could always frag a small bit to compare growing it in a low vs high par area of the tank, I love experimenting like that.

That would be cool. It has almost doubled and since turned all purple. I am cool with it as is. it has turned a purple/red color with cream tops. Looks cool just curious why all green went away. I will take it as a good thing

I would but I don't think I have any more room. :-) I have fragged it and have some pieces in my frag tank so we shall see if they come back.

I just hit up the guy I picked up the piece from. Asked for a recent pic. His is a deep purple/blue now because he turned up the lights. That explains it.
