MJ400 good enough for brs dual reactor??

I found a couple different articles most people just buying the bundle pack on brs that comes with the mj1200 but i already have a 400. I was wondering if it would be suffice enough to use with the brs gfo/carbon dual reactor. Idk if the size of my tank matters matter but its a 90g

The MJ400 seems to be rated at 100 gph.. max.

It would tumble GFO, but it maybe to small for the carbon.
