Reef update, everything is looking good. I am very impressed with my newer nem, these pictures just don’t do them (it split) justice, They’re beautiful.

You have a nice looking tank. I've never really looked at the AIO setups, but I can see how they do allow you to put one just about where ever you want.

Thank you, these AIO’s are great for just about anywhere. Like I said earlier I love it in the kitchen I‘m staring at this tank every meal. To further the simplicity I don’t even use a protein skimmer, just enough water changes to control the nutrient load. this is kept simple by using one gallon Rubbermaid pitchers, a couple times a week, very easy.

Also, I decided to go with the 60 rather than the 30, and was going to ask what skimmer you use, but since you don’t, that takes care of that!

Thank you for the comments. Unfortunately, no the clowns refuse to go into any of my nems. As far as heaters, I’ve got two Eheims backed up on an old Apex jr. One heater does all the work, and the second is the backup if necessary. I’m one of those who replaces the heaters every couple of years.

After several months of feeding the nems right after the cleaner shrimp, the nems color appears to be coming back. The cleaner shrimp are food thieves from the nems and acans.

The mag float, now that’s the first I’ve heard of that one. My clown actually touchs the nem, but just doesn’t settle in.
