Mo40 controller not working

Hey everyone I have a mp40 controller not work seeing if anyone knows a fix? When I plug the power adapter to the controller the light on the adapter goes dim and starts making a noise and the controller does not come on switched the adapter with the second one I have that’s works with my second mp40 still the same thing any ideas

Yeah I tried the adapter with the other mp40 no issues
