Mobius App - Connection Timeout

Is there a button you can press on the controller that manually puts the pumps in feed mode without using the app, like what Tunze does?

Sure I can unplug it, but I have a tendency of forgetting to plug them back in. My controller is in another room from my tank. Having a 10min feeding delay would be extremely helpful.

Yes , there is a feed button built right on the controller. Press and hold the left button to activate it. Returns to normal in 5 or 10 minutes can't remember

Why are people logging in?

Just set them up as local, and there is no need to log into ecotechs servers.

Whil eI do not have lights, I do run 2 nero 3's, and have never "logged into" the app to adjust the flow patterns or intensities.
You cannot set up a schedule and adjust lighting without app. Also the blue tooths never hold a connection and every time you try and adjust your radions mobius just says device times out. Then you need to remove from aquarium, hard reboot, and reconnect and program. Only work around that works for me. Have this issue on multiple aquariums and 4 radions. Not to mention my lights are set at 30% and randomly one will turn on at 100% in the middle of night for no reason, stressing the heck out of my corals. Sometimes it is just one color. I just wish there was a manual on and off, some sliders and a way to schedule the on and off times. Or have software that works.
Ecotech tried to fly an airplane without making sure it had wings. Spent a lot on marketing tho

There is a setting on app that will allow manual operations even if set up with mobius. It is an override on the vortech wave maker mp40

Anyone else having trouble connecting to their radions? I never have problems with mine but starting having issues last night.

This is the error I am getting. Reboot , turn off , turn on bluetooth, etc , etc still nothing. Ecotech you guys really need help on this terrible app of yours. My lights and pumps are on autopilot so i don't mind it so much. But i am trying to dial in my Kalk with your Versa and this crap happens.

I am honesty surprised people keep buying more stuff that runs on mobius when they already have problems with mobius on another product.

Remember, money talks.

I bought some used radions and they are on autopilot but I can't even imagine willingly adding something I would need to access more often.

Imagine trying to trust this app with something like a doser...

I reset my password and now its working again lol

I saw someone posted that its not working again and when i checked it wasn't working either.... I got a little tiffed. But nothing like i am going to fire sell my Ecotech hardware lol

Is that control going to be local? Or via IoTa?

If it's IoTa, you may still run into mobius problems.
Given the local control always available in my ACjr-AC3-Apex Classic-A2 Apex, I would expect the same kind of local control for integrations. On first thought, a one-time account link or access for Apex to download & import Ecotech programs/settings. Maybe there's synchornization over IoTa (think Dropbox on multiple clients) to start, but A2 Apex and above have built-in Wifi so . . . hold the phone, someone tell this future XR15 G6 Blue owner if they have wifi built-in?

Almost every Ecotech product has wifi built in if it was made in the last couple years. I think it is every product but could be forgetting something. Wifi has been in beta for quite a while now. If you call Ecotech and ask nicely, they will usually put you on the beta

Thanks, I haven't had proper LED since gen1.

Well there it is, put the Radion and the Apex on the same network and I think you'd be in business . . .
grossly over-simplifying, obviously :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:

I am so tired of this crappy app not doing what it’s supposed to do! Almost $2000 worth of radions & can’t save any program changes (request timed out)! And if I do get around that hangers are saved to one light & the other 3 (failed)
I love WWC but I don’t ish they would have warned me about the app before I bought theses lights. I would have gone with something else

I have tried numerous times to get put on the WIFI. They denied my request every time. I'm not sure the wifi is any better or they would switch people over.

I asked and they told me the beta was closed. I pleaded saying i was going on vacation and needed to be able to connect to them remotely in any emergencies but they wouldn't bend.
