Ok I can’t be the only one that has this issue. I am running 2 AI 32’s, 1 AI fugue, 2 Mp10’s, and a Vectra S2 return. I had this all on a single tank setup on my mobius app and was constantly having problems with my light schedule. I finally but everything on four individual tank setups. The lights work flawlessly but both setups for my return and power heads still have time issues. The clock gains roughly 12 minutes a day. This is a big headache because I had my mp10s scheduled to go into feed mode in conjunction with my feeder. I worked with eco tech a while back but never got it worked out. So my questions are.

1. Has anyone else seen or heard of this issue?

2. Is there an alternative to Mobius?

3. I am adding versa dosers soon, will this prevent proper scheduling.

I have updated everything and reset and redone everything a few times with no change.
Thanks

I believe its still possible to run the ai lights off their own app which may work better. Mobius as a control method is the reason why I stay away from gen 5-6 radions though.

Same it why I just bought 2 nero 5 rather than mp40. I have 8 ecotech devices I run them all through a reeflink. All Ai devices I run through my ai app

I had significant time drift with my two MP40's. Both had different drift rates. I sent screen shots to support which showed the ever increasing discrepancy between my MP40's and my iPhone. Lots of back and forth with support did not improve things. Ultimately, I was advised that a future firmware update would correct this issue. This recently happened (actually two recent updates) and the issue seems to be have been corrected!

Check for any firmware updates is all I've got for you.

All updates are current.

You’re not alone, maybe someday this new Neptune module that we were teased with last year will be coming soon and make control of the eco tech products a lot better and more stable.

This is a known issue that I picked up on within 3 days after receiving my new MP 10 about a month and a half ago.

They have a beta firmware that they will give you if you reach out to customer support. It took two days for me to receive the firmware update and it fixed my time drift problem 100%

Day one they got me to follow their instructions which had no fix whatsoever.

Day two they asked me to confirm my email address because it is tied to your equipment and when you open up the app it will notify you that there is a firmware update available. Once you update it you won't have any issues with time shift.

You can ask all you want in here but I know firsthand what's going on and they will address it and give you the update but you are going to need to reach out to them with your problem.

When I first noticed the problem I got a hold of ecotech customer support and they told me they take this problem very seriously and within a day I received my first email from Mobius.

After that all will be fixed 100% as I've tested the firmware and it is bang on with my cell phone time.

I’ll try them again, thanks.

Yes there has been one firmware update that I know of but the one regarding time I believe hasn't been updated yet. You'll need to reach out to ecotec with your concern and they will escalate it to the app developer and then they will get a hold of you and after about two emails they will give you the firmware once they confirm your account email. I know the last firmware update just a couple weeks ago had some fixes to it but the time shift wasn't in the notes.

Until then I suggest figuring out how much of the time shift there is in a day. Myself what I would do would be setting the clock manually just before bed time and then I would check it when I woke up in the morning. If the time shifted by 3 minutes in 8 hours I would just subtract 9 minutes every night before bed and that way you would keep the schedule somewhat in tune with your settings.

They were actually very quick on fixing this issue for me but then again I am running a beta firmware version and have been reporting to them off and on for a couple weeks after they pushed that firmware to the driver. You can either wait for the fix or just reach out to ECOTECH Live support chat and they will escalate it ASAP and probably the next day you'll receive an email from Mobius themselves and give you some stupid useless steps to go through which chances are won't solve the issue. Once you email them back by saying you followed their directions to a t the next email that comes in will be telling asking you to validate your account email and a short wall later you can open up the app and the firmware will update the driver and you'll be good to go.

Hey guys n gal's, check your Mobius app settings and check the date. Mine just showed May 1st so I had to select set current time and then set my time zone. After that select reboot all devices and you should be all set.

I did not notice that. My Mobius App currently reports May 5, 2023!!! The time, OTOH, has been consistently 1 minute ahead of my iPhone, which is way better than the ever increasing drift I experienced prior to the recent firmware updates. Now, quite usable, though it doesn't instill much confidence in their programmers/developers.
