Mobius with MP40's

Has does anyone know how to use Anti Sync using Mobius
I have recenlty gone through upgrade and setup process myself for the 4 MP40s I have and the process is very similar to what you do in reeflink. It's definitely not the most intuitive and may require a little experimentation and trail and error to understand how it actually work.

Simplified process:
  • Add your two pumps
  • Setup your first pump schedule
  • Begin your 2nd pump schedule. The only difference this time is that you select/add the "Child" mode to your schedule. It should ask you what the Parent is. This will then open up the options of being able to select "Sync", "Anti-Sync" or "EcoSmart Back". If you like to "Anti-Sync" 24 hrs...just update the time to cover that time-frame in your schedule. That's it.

Here are a few screen shots with my notes; hopefully that may help.

And I though GhL programming was tough to get used to. Parent and child?

One thing to note on the last photo that @reef-rc shared, the vertical slider on the right that indicates 40% is the percentage at which the child runs in relationship with the parent. If you want them both to be exactly the same, that slider should be at 100%.

In the case of anti-sync, when that slider is at 100% and the parent is running at 90% the child will be at 10%.

Is that an Android or iphone I do not see a parent child option on my iphone.

I have configured my two MP40s as sync / anti-sync and so far everything is fine. Only after a few hours the slave pump just stops and stops working. I then have to reset it several times and completely reconfigure it. Now I had it twice and then configured it as a working pump independently.

Both in sync and anti sync?

sorry, of course I meant the anti-sync mode. the slave pump simply stops at some point. it also stops when the pumps start back in normal mode in feed mode or when the master pump changes mode.

it's getting annoying! every time the whole thing plays and one of the pumps just stops and has to be working again .. will reset and be added again .. stupid !!

Those of you running mp40s on mobius, any chance you can tell me what it reports the flow rate as at 65% and 50%

Cheers

Please educate me about anti-sync. Is it not a command to tell the other pump to not mimic the other pump?

When in anti-sync the child/slave powerhead will do the exact opposite of the parent/master powerhead, by how much depends on what overall percentage you set the child/slave powerhead to.
