Some quick little fish!
I had two black ice, a mocha, and a picasso clown (all introduced to the tank at the same time, about a month ago, and all pretty small) and the three others quickly started picking on the picasso. It started as just little nips here and there which I suspected were very normal for clowns. I know displaying dominance is one of the ways a female is chosen and clowns pair + they're territorial fish.
Anyway, the nipping kept getting worse to the point of the ice and mocha would make it very hard for the picasso to eat. They kept chasing him into the corner of the tank, slapping him with their tails, and wouldn't let him leave the corner. I ended up having to find the picasso a new home. He didn't leave the corner of the tank for days and kept swimming into the glass which showed major insecurities. I had to remove him a couple times just to let him eat in peace. Sometimes, clown relationships just don't work out.

Big g beat me to it. They are all super close in size. I’d separate. Pair them up one small one big. Similar size will just keep fighting.

Sure is sad they are in QT what should I do I don’t want a sell them by end of may they go back to the display tank

Put them in their own breeder boxes so they can’t fight in the qt tank. Maybe they’ll be okay in a much larger tank. If not clowns are pretty easy to catch

I have heard of "timeouts" helping slow aggression. Basically putting the aggressor in a small holding clear tank inside the actual tank so the others see the separation And they can swim near each other to get to know each other. It actually made my big black ice chill out for about 24 hours but he went back at the picasso as soon as some mysis shrimp hit the water.

One thing is not sure how big the box should be I have a box is that big enough 6” h 6” w

That many large clowns if gunna be tough. It can be done in a big enough tank. Typically when people have a clown harem with that many they start with tiny ones I think. After watching the white lights video I’m fairly certain they’ll kill each other if left like that. Beautiful clowns! Good luck with them.

5x5” boxes for clowns is pretty common. I’ve had misbehaved clowns in them for weeks at a time.
