I am going to get a 20 gallon tank, and I had 2 types of fish in mind green chromis or mocha clowns. So I was wondering how many of each could I get in a 20 gallon tank, and are they going to be compatible.

In a 20 gallon tank i would limit it to a pair of clowns, chromis are cool ,but imo clownfish are better and more interesting to watch, especially later down the road when your tank gets established you can introduce a anemone for the pair. make sure you take your time and do it right the first time and you should be good!!! Post pics and or videos when you get your pair!!!

so I just got back from my LFS and I got a 29 gallon tank, and I am getting something for the tank every week until I am ready to put fish in. so I was wondering if I could get a black occelaris and a mocha clown, also would I be able to get 2 pairs of those or should I just stick with one pair

One pair, mocha and Darwin(black) would work, they're both occelarris. Even in the 240 I'm getting I'm only doing one pair, they get territorial and often kill each other, not worth it, also make sure you have let your tank cycle for at least 1-2 months IMO, then amen sure there's no ammonia, nitrates/nitrites, and the ph is good, and don't try an anemone until you have a very mature tank. You need strong lights, and if the lfs tries to sell you one take a picture of it, we can easily Id it and give you tips
