Would it be overkill to Mod my 1200 into the medium flow of 1500gph in my 33g Long?
I have heard that the flow is dispersed somewhat but i wanted to get some feedback on other tanks....

thanks Steve

I have the return on one side right now and the MJ on the other. Its good flow right now but i wanted more indirect instead of blasting in one direction.

Steve

There is about 400-500gph out of the return. It covers the whole right side with alot of nice indirect flow. But then there the side with the MJ. It just seems like the right and the middle are covered but the far left and part of the left dont have as much flow as i want to have.

honestly i have 2 modded mj withthe octura brown props, and i don't think you could put them in a 33 with sand. i have one in a 55 and directed all the way down the tank it still keeps the bottom of the tank mostly clear.

i dont personally have the nano streams but I have seen them running in a tank and I think they are awesome. Im not sure if you would have to much flow-I have two seios that pump 2200 gph and a mag drive 9.5b that pumps 950 gph for my return in a 75. I have never been impressed with rio as far as pump quality goes but these seios are starting to change my mind.

Well i think i would be ok on flow only if i direct them in the perfect position to get random flow but then not creating a sandstorm.

I think i will look into buying 2 in the next week or two. :)

I just recieved my Nano stream (6045 ~1250gph) from Aquarium specialty. I have a 58 gallon, anff my sand was stirred up at first, but it has since settled down.
