I just got a Tunze Corline 9001 protein skimmer. For my set up it would work best if I mounted it sideways or I could mount it the way it is meant to be and I would need to cut the lid of my 29 gallon tank.
The manufacturer said I could remove the magnet from where it is and glue it to the other side. They suggested using plastic model glue. Will this leech into the water at all and potentially harm the fish?
Or, if you think its best that I cut a larger hole into my plastic aquarium top, what would you suggest the best way to do that would be.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated since this is my first salt water tank.
