Hey everyone!
I’m new to R2R, but love getting to read all these great discussion threads!
I have been caring for aquariums since the mid-aughts, FOWLR s since 2010’s, but always wanted to do a full reef tank. Now that I have a career to support a bigger investment in aquarium equipment- I finally took the plunge a year ago.
I started by gutting my 29 gallon Biocube by removing all the AIO filtration stuff and then removing the rim. I drilled some holes in the glass to install a weir drain to a new sump and return line. Connected a great 11 gallon nano cube sump with refugium. Added a classic protein skimmer.
Now, a year later, I have a tiny reef growing in my living room!
