Since Reef Energy Plus requires you to clean prior to refilling DDS . I drilled and tapped two 1/4” drain holes in bottom of unit and installed two 90 elbows and valves . Using 1” to 3/4 electrical bushings I created 4 legs. Yes I know I voided the warranty but that’s what is hobby is all about making things better. And I do hope Neptune R&D see this

So are you using the drain only when cleaning the containers? Like filling them with water and draining?

I guess I’m not following as to why a drain is needed
