Modifying a Geo kalk stirrer need advice!

So I scored this for $60!

I cleaned it up and am ready to use it. It is supposed to be a kalk stirrer but I feel like I wanna try and use it for something else. Does anyone have any suggestions on what would be another good way to utilize this? The tank it will be in is a 40gal mixed reef (I know it’s over kill but couldn’t pass it up!)

Modify for use as a calcium reactor? You could make a nice algae reactor too. If nothing else, plug the holes and make a skimmer collection cup!
