Mojano, ball nem, aptasia?

Hi All!

I have two of these nem looking things. I cannot distinguish myself if they are aptasia, ball nem, mojano etc…

Can anyone confirm what these are?

My apologies for the bad pics, they are in tough spots to photograph.

Looks like a ball nem to me. Not as bad at spreading like aptasia. But most people kill them when they can - good luck

Ball nems can sting corals, but I let them live in my tanks, as have never had an issue with them.

Most I know will also not remove them, as while they do pose a threat, it is not much of one. In addition, as others have mentioned, they do not usually get to plague levels.

With that said, it is really up to you.

If you do want to remove them, lots of ways to do it. A little really hot vinegar injected into them, a very small nem cannon using 3/8" pex and a small sponge, or just a bit of kalkwasser paste injected into them will either kill them or allow to just remove and dispose of.
