Hey guys. I’ve had some equipment that has been sitting on my patio for some time that I decided to try and clean up to reuse. The equipment is a couple of powerheads and a 17 gallon tank. So I cleaned them up with a pressure washer and placed them in the tank with RODI water and vinegar and let them run for a few days. Today it looks like this. It looks like mold is growing on the powerheads. Did I do something wrong?

Vinegar is an organic.
Rodi and a splash of bleach would be better.
I just use tap water for stuff like that btw.

To remove bleach , just leave it in the sun.

Myself , I’d just add some bleach , let it soak and then scrub it.
Give it a good rinse.
But yea. Something like that.
