What' the best way to remove any potential mold release agents from a molded container? Fill it with water, some bleach, and circulate with a powerhead for a day? Fill it with water, some vinegar, and circulate with a powerhead for a day? Something else?

Not bleach (IMO). No reason to assume it reacts with mold release agents and not the plastic. I'd use soap and warm or hot water, then rinse really well.
