so I have been doing a LOT of reading about algae types, etc...and found somehow, a forum of people using acclimated freshwater mollies for this. apparently they'll eat Bryopsis and LHA...anyone have experience with this? if this is true...this could really be a game changer, right?

It’s true.. depending on tank conditions. They’ll not fare well in an sps tank that likely has high flow.. they need low flow areas - that’s my experience from FW tanks anyway

yeah, seems like it's a hit and miss with flow. but it's definitely interesting

They really do smash algae. Seen it first hand. 5 added to a tank with GHA among other types and the difference in just 24hours was amazing. They managed to clean up the whole tank in a few weeks.
how did they do with acclimation etc?

I added a molly to my tank a few days ago and watching her she is going ham on my GHA.

I have an 8gallon frag tank so I am just testing one for now and see where the algae is at after she is full grown.
