Molting or massacre

Hey Everyone,

Checked on the tank and noticed legs in a dark area of the tank. Thought it was some sort of hitchhiker.

Is this normal for molting blue hermit crabs?

There are just snails and clownfish In the tank and he hasn’t been to mobile lately.

Take them out and see if they are a shell or a leg with contents inside. To me, it looks like something ripped some legs off your hermit crab.

He is back at it today so it must have been a molt
