Ok, so my ATI test results show that I am low on molybdenum.

So, I dutifully went to BRS and ordered the Triton molybdenum for dosing. However, the Triton molybdenum does not tell you anything except to dose according to the Triton recommendations. But, I went ATI!!!

Does anyone know how much I should dose the Triton molybdenum based on my Triton results?

By the way, my wife says that I am the biggest nerd because I am panicking about how much molybdenum to dose in my fish tank. Eh, she might be right.

That's OK. You are not alone and in very good company LOL :D:rolleyes:

Yep, she is most probably right and you have lots of company here. I don’t know if you need to be somewhat OCD to be in this hobby but it helps...

I always add Molybdenum using just a dash, stirring briskly for 15 seconds and then sampling a drop to see if the water has that marine fresh taste or not? It’s very subtle, but really important to the finished product and. oh so easy to over do. I hth?

In case anyone ever has this same problem, ATI responded to me and said to double up the recommendation they made if I use Triton. Apparently Triton Molybdenum is at half strength compared to ATI.
