Soooo…… this afternoon my mom told me to hop in the car, and that we were going to the fish store. 3 hours, 200$ and one trip to @Tiki Corals later, here we are. I bought my first coral, my first saltwater fish, and my first macro-algae. As far as I know, I bought 2 clownfish, a yellow-green spongode, a favia, two zoathids, and a mushroom as well as some Pom Pom gracilis. I’ll send pics when I get home!!
How do I drip acclimate saltwater stuff? Is it the same as freshwater?

Do you have a tank setup already? It takes time before fish and even longer before a tank can sustain coral.

Float bags to acclimate to temp. Afterward mix in a shot glass of water every 5 minutes until volume is doubled. From there they can be added to the quarantine tank or display.
