Do your tomato plants look like this????

If you love tomatoes but can't get them to grow simply save your skimmate!!
A 1/10 mixture of gunk-water makes for plants that grow larger than life!!

In fact, these tomato plants won't stop growing at all!!! Don't waste your waste.
Works with most standard garden plants and all roses!!!

I use this specifically for my tomatoes, roses, blackberries, raspberries, cherry tree, plum tree, peppers, grapes, wisteria (though it needs less growth), hostas, herbs, holly, and I have been experimenting with Orchids, cacti, and you can definitely dose potted mangroves with straight skimmate!

Ya know, I did this with my Orange and Lemon Trees, and the fruit tasted like total crap that season. So this season I didn't do it at all. I'll let you know of the difference. Remember that skimmate contains salt in it, and alot of stuff doens't like that.

Salt is beneficial when diluted. I will see if i can find it, but i read a study on tomato plants and salt and it seemed to react very well. I think your first problem is that you bit into a lemon! lol. just joking of course! I would love to hear how it tastes Sans Skimmate, who knows, it could just be the soil?

The dilution came with normal watering along with the occasional skimmate dump. Horrible taste I tell ya. Yucky.
Na, not the soil, they were fine the year prior to me messing with it. I just decided last year to give it a whirl, knowing it was organic and all, I thought it would help. Yuk, didn't help my stuff out. Or maybe, like you said, I messed somthing up. Don't know, but scared me enough not to do it this year. =)

If my garden tasted bad I would stop too. It may be different with citrus fruit? Cool observation though! I totally agree that anything a plant consumes can alter its flavor. Bat Guano VS Miracle Grow is substantially different in my experience, oddly, the guano had a better taste!
