It hurts to admit, but I probably spent nearly 10k last year on my tanks. It is VERY easy to spend $1000 in this hobby. I'm already preparing for MACNA this year. It is in my backyard and I expect my bank account is going to feel the sting!

The smart way to do it is to spend $100 on a piece of coral, grow it out to 10-20x the size and sell it. Then buy a $500 piece and do the same thing :)

thats what I’m working on. Hyper jubilees, bowsers, nightmares, and rainbow troll zoas waiting for me at the lfs ;Hilarious

That's great, until that $500 coral falls out of favor and sells for $100 tops...all before you have a chance to frag it. ;Joyful
