Has anyone here calibrated their monitor? If you did, what unit/software did you use?

These units seem to be popular and not too crazy expensive:

Spyder3Express - Datacolor - Global Leader in Color Management Solutions

I would think the calibration would last for awhile, at least until there was some form of degradation from your display.

Another plus would be I could calibrate my TV's as well...
 
pass on the spyder, there is a much better one out there that everyone on my photo forums talks about.

Ill post what it is later when i can look it up.

i need one bad myself....
 
I've been using the Spyder for a couple years and it works well. Takes about 20 minutes or so to go thru the whole process.
