Monitoring Fusion on old iPad

I would like to use an old iPad (iOS 9.3.5) to keep fusion open but when I try to log in using the fusion app from this iPad, I get a server error (certificate for server invalid) trying to log into apex fusion.com. Any suggestions for a work around?

I believe you need a newer OS version or you may need to login via a web browser instead.
