She was a biggin. Its been about a year since we have been and by gosh its tripled in size.

It is an absolute monster id put it 20" + its hard to actually tell because it sits right next to the curve on the acrylic.

Maximas and squamosas both max out at about 14" and 16" respectively. The mantle somewhat resembles some of the blue squamosas that have been showing up in the US lately. Knowing Sea World, they would spring for a blue squamosa. However, due to the distances between the scutes, that is probably a maxima.

That one is a T. gigas. And a small one at that. :wink: T. gigas will grow up to around 4 feet, so that one is still a baby.

I was at a swap in NJ a month ago and met a guy that had a clam that measured over 36" long. I didn't believe him until he showed me a pic. It was nuts!
