Monster Mash, How much light you giving it?

Whatup!

I've had my Monster Mash for nearly a year and it hasn't grown a mm. If you have this piece and its growing well please tell me how much light your giving it? A lot, a lil, a tiny amount? Par meter readings are awesome. Mine is at 90 par.

I have very little growth as well, shaded under a ledge with halides.

i have mine in the open and at the bottom of tank...i have leds set at 20k 100% temperature...do this chalice needs low light?

I have mines and notice that when you give it medium light with medium/high flow it will take off. Once it get big as a dime it will grow faster. Frequent water changes and very stable parameters will also aid in the growth rate.

I have mine 10" down from (3) 24 watt ati blue plus and mine is growing very well. Infact it put on 5 eyes in the last two months. Both Peter (SDGuy) and I got ours from a second generation colony. Not that, that makes a huge difference. I know of another individual that has kept his 24" bellow 400watt halides and vho actinics for years and his colony is the size of a dinner plate his and ours came directly from Charles (chinnmonster). Hope this is some help.

Mine is in med/high light and med flow. It finally is big enough to cut some frags, but I've had it for about a year and a half.

What kind of lighting you guys keep it under. I have mines under T5 and it not as red it more on the pink side.

Mine is at the bottom of my 30" tall tank with 250W DE 14K Phoenix bulbs on Icecaps.
