They were cut last week. Haven't had time to encrust. My display is led and my frag tank is a mix of led and t5.

Monti's seem to be the most hardy SPS I have ever seen and not encrusting has never been a problem for me with them. I got a broken tip of monti digi that accidentally fell in one of the bags when I ordered online and was no bigger than 1/2" long by 1/4" thick free floating in the bag. There was a heating problem and the temperature of the water dropped in the mid-low 60s. I figured what the heck and mounted it on a frag plug and it is like 5x the size now in just a month or so. My monti cap also went through a pretty huge mini-cycle when I was a noob and it was one of the only corals to survive - it wasn't even phased.

BTW love that pack - If I had room for more montis I would take it. Great deal.
