Monti cap suggestions

Looking to keep this cap here. Thoughts ?
I want it to grow out off this edge but I’m afraid it might grow down.

Will the shadowing on some of the plate create bleaching ?

I like to put the caps low because they will shadow other coral.

In my experience, monti-cap can do well in a pretty wide range of lighting. I wouldn't worry too much about the area that's shadowed. As it grows outward, you can trim it back and it will grow upward toward the light, creating some pretty cool patterns.

Not a problem, will be fine there.

Move it up and to one side. You will loose too much real estate on the rock and the sand bed.

Going to add a rock and place it flat here to keep it lower. Thanks for the suggestions, I post when I move it. Will adding a few pound dead rock cause big issues ?
