Monti cap

Looking at getting some monti caps and was wandering the best to mount them. I have seen people mount them straight up seen some mount flat. Not sure if it matters just wandering if there is a right or wrong way.

For plating caps it's beast to mount horizontally. I have mounted some on LR and magnets depending on how you want it to look in your tank. When the acclimate to their new position, they'll start to take off so keep that in mind. Good Luck!

Ok cool I have normally seen them horizontally but have seen them mounted vertical and just thought that was weird.

If you do mount vertically due to your aquascape. just realize they'll eventually grow horizontally.

I don't know the best way but I just put mine like this yesterday. I can see polyps so I don't think he's unhappy there

Yeah looks good I just gonna mount mine horizontal.
