In March I moved from a 125 to a 180. My montis looked fine for the couple of months but have been on a steady decline since. colors have completly faded and then they just start to die. big green chili pepper and sunset.

parameters always seem to be well within range of what i have always kept.

I do have a small frag of rainbow monti that is doing fine., motni setosa thats growing like crazy. all my LPS look great. birdsnest growing on the sandbed.

Any ideas of what I should be loong for? im at a loss. I should

Did your lighting change?

When going from one to another tank like that, especially with light and flow sensitive SPS corals, changing either light or flow in a dramatic way can have adverse affects on their overall health. They to have them around the same level as they were before from the light. And make sure they have good flow across them for proper gas exchanges.

The light just recently changed but well after the issues started.

The parameters were fairly close when the move occurred. And corals were good for a good couple of months.... I used the same lights from tank to tank until just recently.

i recently struggles with colors on my SPS. I was starving them because of an algae bloom. I reduced feeding to combat the algae and ended up starving my corals causing bleaching (loss of colors). My montis showed it first and showed it the worst.

I increased the feeding and the coloration had improved. Solved the algae problem with clean up crew.

Good luck

I feel like a feed a lot, multiple additives throughout the week, pellets 3 times a day and frozen at night. I have a black sailfin blenny that I suspect might be doing something when im not looking, but I just put a few frags of monti from a friends tank in the frag tank (same system) and they faded after about 2 weeks... Also, could there be something wrong with my RODI? TDS reads zero, but could it be releasing something. membrane is fairly new but maybe bad pressure is causing other issues.

Had a black sailfin blenny in my tank a while back and he literally devoured my setosa. Other customers complain about the same thing. Take him out!
