i had two new frags of monti pieces in on my frag rack and yesterday I noticed that they both looked white in half of them. I had dipped them and small critters came off but nothing like a nudi. I have a full shelf of 4 different nice Montis on the right island of the tank furthest from the frag rack.

Anyhow I took the two frags out / they’ve been in for about a month or so with no damage and found 1 small nudi on one and two on the other. They were side by side on the rack. I found a small clutch of eggs on one next to the damage.

Note: I did add a new zoo about 2 days ago that was dipped but that’s the only new addition to the tank since.

There were 2 other Monti frags on the rack with no damage and no eggs or nudis after an aggressive dip.

For precaution I threw all 4 frags in the trash and have not seen any damage on any other Montis in the tank. Hopefully they were just beginning but who knows.

Any experience out there with this. I’ve scanned the posts and some people say you’re good if you catch them early enough or before generations begin.

Just keep any eye on the others, It’s good that you got them early

Its the eggs that will be of concern. Do remove any manually as they will fall easily into a net

No I only saw eggs on the damaged frags and threw those into the trash. Along with the all the monti frags on the rack.
