Monti eating nudi's fallow time?

Ok so I lost a huge battle with monti eating nudies. Actually I ended up crashing my whole tank over it . So it has been 4 months or so that the tank has been without monties. I have been working hard at getting the tank back to shape ( after the crash I lost interest and the tank went to crap a bit) so my question is how long do I need to wait before I can put in monties? How long does it take the nudi's to starve out?

I remember reading somewhere that they can take a good while to starve...if my memory serves me correctly, on the order of a couple/few months, taking eggs left behind into consideration. Again, just recalling from the dark recesses of a spotty memory I had a small outbreak of them once but actually won that war.

I don't know of any medications that can kill nudi's eggs

I never tried it, but I was told flat worm exit would kill them if you treat it for a month or so. I think I was told to dose every five days

That's not killing eggs. Just hoping to get them right after they hatch.

So my tank has been at least 3-4 months without any monti's. That should have starved them out no?
