That doesn't look right to me.Has it been removed from the tank recently? Maybe a water change or a temperature fluctuation recently?
 
Some corals will slime up to capture food, but it looks like you dumped way to much on it.

For sps, just broadcasting a bit of food in the water is the way to go imo.

So I will feed less food.
The “dome” got clearer and eventually flew away. Afterward, it seemed brighter in color.
 
SPS more than most other corals capture their prey using mucus. Mucus can either be a sign of self defense/stress but it can also be a sign of feeding. Theres a paper that shows that of all the corals monti's can release more mucus than any other coral. I think acros were #3
