Hi R2R.
I just got these monti cap frags from vividaquariums.com, and put them into my frag rack 3 days ago.
The green cap piece seems to be either bleaching or fading. The purple one seems OK? Two of the pics are from day 1, and the 110104.jpg is from today.
Could it be lack of flow since the frag rag is above my gyre powerhead? I can't imagine my light being too strong, I have my two AI prime 26 HD's dialed back.
Parameters are:
Alk 10.5
Salinity 1.026
Phosphate 0.04
Nitrate should be ~7ppm as I started dosing a few days ago to raise it.
Calcium 410
The old red monti cap piece is doing well and growing fast, even though it has some discoloration that is healing.
Any ideas here?
