Monti growing on live snail shell

I just noticed a bright red spot on one of my many snails. Looked closer and noticed it’s a tiny piece of montipora. Not sure which type.
It’s a live snail. It was moving. I just had to share. Found it to be too weird to keep to myself.
I’ll try to take a pic tomorrow if I can see it again.

It may be coraline algae but monti would be pretty cool

Oh I’m positive it’s not coraline. It’s looks like red monti with purple little polyps.

I need to catch it out. It’s a 125g with about 200lbs of LR.
It’s hard to catch. But I will try tomorrow when lights are on.

I can’t be the only one that has had this happen.
No way.
Maybe it is coraline but more colorful then any other coraline in my tank. Idk

I have beautiful bright red and orange coraline along with the others
