Monti Help

So this is supposed to be a Monti but it looks to have some pretty long sweepers. Is this a Monti or something else?

That’s not a monti, it’s either a chalice or a cup coral. I’m not sure if pagoda cups have sweepers, never had one, but the raised polyps on it looks very pagoda cup-like. But the sweepers and coloration look identical to my Hollywood stunner chalice.

To add to my comment, now that we’re all in agreement it’s Hollywood stunner, you might have been ripped off. Hollywood stunner chalice is one of the cheapest chalices there are, people sell them for $20 a frag or less. Hopefully someone didn’t claim it’s a monti to upcharge you.

Glad I didn’t put it near anything else. When I got it I thought “that’s an odd looking Monti”.

To add to my comment, now that we’re all in agreement it’s Hollywood stunner, you might have been ripped off. Hollywood stunner chalice is one of the cheapest chalices there are, people sell them for $20 a frag or less. Hopefully someone didn’t claim it’s a monti to upcharge you.

I got it for$10 in a recent sale so no big deal but probably labeled wrong by accident. I just saw those sweepers and panicked. Thanks for the help.

That’s good. It’s a cool coral nonetheless, just keep an eye on where your flow takes the sweepers and don’t put anything in their way.
