Monti plate whirling

Hey everyone. I started with my first sps and chose a montipora plate as most do when starting sps. So now i might have a rather stupid question but is there a way to get her to whirl as my space is limited. Thx

I assume you're asking about the monti growing different levels/plating? Flow is super important. BRS has started to say flow is more important than lights (though that will play a role too). Here is another thread on it that you might find helpful.

I've had a orange plating monti in my tank for about 7 months. When bought it was about 2x4 and now is around 10x8. This coral just grows out and not up. Is there a way to make it grow layers?

Light and water flow makes this happy and I noticed more growth and red color since adding Pohls 4 part system
