I just checked my Monti today and out of no where is a white whole in it now and i have no clue what it could be i really don't want to lose it.

That is weird. Looks like something stung it. Monti's are usually very tough corals so you can probably just watch it to see if that is moving or spreading. Breaking it off as suggested would also be a fail safe method if nothing is going on with your water parameters. I would check the parmeters first before I did anything.
 
I get white spots from time to time on my monticap. Stings/water changes/perimeter swings not sure the reason but they heal.
 
Very little phosphate, high nitrates and the high side on alk and cal I hand dose so I believe it's swings with my A&B 2part that give the issues.
I'm pretty sure the one I have is an ORA Cap, it's been indestructible and grows fast. The plug it came on is long gone and it's the size of a dinner plate.
