I've had this green montipora cap. for 3 months now. When I bought it from the LFS it was lime green, but ever since I've had it in my tank It's been brown. I've tried keeping it at all levels but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Right now its sitting around 150 par. As you can see it has green polyp extension. Ive shown it next to a green psammacora for comparision.

Montis will turn colors based on lights. Maybe the colors in the store were because of the spectrum of the lights. It looks fine otherwise.

Wow you guys are right that it might actually be a purple monti capnnow that ive looked it under all spectrums of lighting on my Radions. I don't know how it looked green under the LFS frag tank lighting. It is definitely more of a dull purple than brown. Any advice on how to make the purple body more vivid?

Time should bring it out. I had a purple base one and it was great under my MH/T5 lights in the past. I think I ran the 14K or 20K and Blue+ T5s. Very old picture of my purple and red peeking in.

I've had caps and undatas start to turn if I slacked on my routine. What has worked great for me is a 15 dip in lugol's and a nice water chance. 9 times outta 10 color returns in 48 hours.

Lighting as mentioned is a difference maker followed by flow
