I am starting to like monti's and wanted to see what is all out there. so post some pics of what you have.

Here is one I picked up I think the guy said it was a danae.The mother was huge somewhere around 2' with bright pink polyps.Mine is a bit discolored do to the move into the frag tank but should color up in a few weeks.

mrugly, do you find your undata to grow VEEEEERY slow? i've had a small frag since september, and i dont notice any encrusting growth at all.

Yep, I'd say my undata is one of the slower growing montis I have. I had that one since April. It increased diameter maybe 1/4" since that time.

I have a 1x3/4 true Superman that almost completely encrusted a frag disk in about half that time.

Idaho Grape grows way faster too. When I first got that piece, it had monti nudis, and it was just about growing faster than the nudis could eat it, haha.

Here is a Orange Nodosa Frag.This frag is growing faster than the mother colony.

Tonga WC 'Superman' Monti (not at all like the LE-coloring up, but won't even be close).

undata? This one grows at lightning speed.

Two danae's-I think the first is starting to look more like the second (which is a good thing ). Pretty slow growing...
