Anyone know what this coral is its encrusting? Also anyone knoe the growth rate on these how long do they take to double in size?

Looks like a mystic sunset. If so, it's an encruster and grows pretty quick. Mine went from a little bit on a plug to the size of the palm of my hand in about three months.

Good I wanted a coral that grows fast it definitely is an encruster my LPS frags barely grew and its been 7 months so I wanted something that grows fast to see if its my tank or the corals.

It looks to be a bit paler than the mystic sunset and shows paler color almost a tint of green in parts. Could it just need some time to color up I just put it in. Also how hardy are they?

color is really pale what are your parameters?

I think it looks more like a pink sand dollar monti, which is also a fast grower.

Not really pale plus it was put in like 30 minutes before pics lights are out now so no more pics for today but not really pale just kinda not all one color some spots paler than the rest.

Ok it may not be pale it may be a pink sand dollar monti it looks just like it my idea of paleness was normal coloration.

Mine was a bit bleached out while it was getting acclimated in my tank, but after a week or so it colored up fine. It seems to be pretty hardy. Some folks don't like them because they can easily overrun the rock work if you let it get on the main structure.
