I have a red cap, sunset, rainbow, and a pokerstar montiporas.
Red cap bleached on spots and some edges and has now started to grow back a bit and on the glass. But polyps are not coming out and always looks stressed. How is this possible?
Sunset and rainbow are not bleached but polyps won't come out. Have moved them around to try different spots, but no luck. Sunset actually encrusted on the rock and that part is fine, but not the frag it came from.
Pokerstar is fine.
Params are spot on except Mag. Mag is 1485, higher than I'd like but not a deal breaker. Info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks everyone!

Just a thought but could it be a parasite of some sort?? and or are you skimming and doing water changes with R/O water? this would eliminate the chance its a toxin from another coral or extraneous source... and do you mind sharing the other parameters?

Like I said everything in my tank is doing well and thriving. I have Acros, Millis, gold torch, ultra pink green eye goni and all doing just fine. Oh, and I use RODI water as I make myself and test the TDS. Salt is Fritz PPM, since I switched from Red Sea Coral Pro I have seen better growth.

Btw, no parasites, I have looked and zoomed in and dam near went cross eyed and not a single one...

Take something out and dip it.. monti eating nudis are extremely hard to spot and the eggs are nearly impossible to see without serious magnification

If there were any nudis, wouldn't it keep dying and not grow back?
Red cap is growing back with no polyp extension, all others except the pokerstar, are not having polyp extension.
