After a little over a month. My Montipora is getting bleached tips. It has been thriving and looking spectacular. Water parameters haven’t changed much. Tank is running a little high on nitrates 60-80. But everything else is thriving. Thought it might be to close to the surface but it’s below the half tank mark. I have a Fluval Flex marine 32.5 gal. It was doing so well. I did find a snail on the top and took it off. But no other reason for it to bleach out the tips. Any input is greatly appreciated since most places have limited hours and I am considered essential business. Work for City Electric. Thanks and stay healthy.

Bleached tips are oftentimes Alkalinity related. Usually high. What is your Alkalinity? Light can also cause bleaching, but I'd check Alk first

We'll need some water parameters, please post:

Salinity, Alkalinity, Calcium, Po4
Do you dose magnesium?

Which lamps are above the tank, how high above the water surface are they, what's the flow like in the tank?
I also think that it's a pocillopora damicornis it's a species of "bird's next coral"

My suspect in order of likelihood:
High Alk
High salinity
too much water flow
high PAR intensity
bugs or flatworms
